However, a person who takes the time to exercise and eat right can see a dramatic improvement in only a few short months. When losing fat, too, a person should keep in mind that muscle - which is built during exercise - weighs more than fat does. If an individual is working to lose fat and he or she is not losing much weight, this does not mean that the fat loss is not working.
